50 Year Celebration Info

Windsor Secondary will be 50 years old in 2011! 

It is hard to believe, but it is true – Windsor Secondary has been around for 50 years! In 1961, the doors of Windsor opened to the community and we have been going strong ever since. With a tradition of academic excellence, athletic excellence, fine arts excellence and technological excellence, in May of 2011, we plan to celebrate our accomplishments over the years. A committee of parents, staff and alumni are working hard to organize a weekend to remember the past and celebrate the future.

Thursday, May 12, 4:00pm ~ Windsorfest Carnival

See what the current students are up to in the classrooms and come for some fun at our Family of School Carnival.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet your friends and teachers from the past and enjoy live performances on the new stage.

Saturday, May 14 – 9:00 am ~ Family Sports Day

Bring your game – volleyball, basketball, football, soccer, even hockey and play with alumni and current Windsor athletes. Fun for the whole family!

Saturday, May 14 – 6:30pm ~ 12am Dinner & Dance & 1961 T-Bird Car Raffle

 

 

 

 

 

 

At time to break out your dancing shoes and dance the night away to tunes of yesteryear.

Sunday, May 15 – 12:00am - 6:00pm ~ Golf Tournament at Northlands 

 

 

 

 

A round of golf for fun! Come and enjoy the North Shore treasure of Northlands Golf course with friends from the past. If not a golfer, join us for burger at the 19th hole!
