Long Live Harma White This three piece Rock n’ Groove band out of Abbotsford B.C. consists of Kyler Pierce and brothers Bra…ndon and Shane Clark. Having learned how to play their instruments with one another roughly ten years ago, Harma White is a force to be reckoned with. The boys of Harma play tonnes of shows each and every year, including their house gig at the Air Fair Lounge in Abby. Harma White has preformed at the Air Fair every Wednesday for three solid years now and they are still going strong! These fine gentlemen pump out a smooth mixture of Rock, Funk, Reggae, and Blues, with a pinch of everything els on the side. No Cover Born and raised in Ireland, Damian began his musical career at an early age by performing for school concerts and local traditional venues in and around Belfast. Starting on the Penny Whistle, Damian enjoyed expert instruction from various top players, notedly all Ireland whistle champion Gogi Mc Collough. Damian has been performing and recording for many years and after taking up the Bodhran Drum, his already busy gig schedule was about to get even busier with more requests to form sessions and …
live shows. Singing and playing the guitar was another ambition soon to be fulfilled and although his love for Irish music was forefront, it wasn’t long before an interest in artists such as Van Morrison and the Beatles steered him in a different direction. Today these influences are evident in his versions of famous artists songs. Damian fronted the popular Dublin band “Souled Out” in the 80?s who blended Irish roots with soul music creating a unique yet identifiable sound. Upon relocating to Canada in a few years later his solo career started almost immediately thus, ultimately leading to the formation of the ever popular Murphy?s Lagh band.

We are looking for all former students, faculty, staff of CSSS from 1950 – present to be involved in the HUGE event! Floor Play Hockey Tournament
Saturday, November 24th at The Bentall Centre Athletic Club
Lower Plaza of the Bentall Four 1055 Dunsmuir Street Vancouver
Tournament Details- The Bentall Centre Athletic Club is pleased to announce the second annual Bentall Floor Play Ball Hockey Tournament which will be held in the Thurlow Parkade of Bentall Tower Four. Sixteen teams will go head to head in a 4 on 4 double-knock style tournament. Proceeds will go to InspireHealth, Canada’s leading integrative cancer care program.
The event starts at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 24th.Complimentary refreshments and food will be provided for players in the Ringside Lounge. All participating teams will receive T-shirts, food, refreshments and a chance to win the “Bentall Floor Play Ball Hockey” cup. DJ Alltunes will be mixing it up all day to provide a festive atmosphere that will rock the downtown core!
Each team of four is allowed to invite up to three subs (who are included in the entry fee). Extra players are encouraged to make a donation to InspireHealth instead of a registration charge. The tournament will consist of 16 teams, the games will be officiated, played 4 on 4, and consist of two 10 minute halves.Floor hockey players are reminded to bring a hockey stick and gloves. We encourage co-ed teams. Games feature small nets without goalies and non-contact fun hockey. Friends and family are welcome to play or just come and enjoy the event.
